CGI (computer generated imagery) is indispensable to most filmmakers these days. The age of puppetry and elaborate sets has come and passed. Films these days can be shot in small studios and Jim Henson is no longer needed for his man-made creatures and robots. It’s a Pixar age where everything is made on the computer and it’s getting harder and harder to tell what is real in a movie and what is CGI. Money is spent on graphic designers rather than on expensive props and lush locations. You can create a thousand giant spiders in Times Square without actually being anywhere near New York and, of course, without giant spiders…Movies like Tron, Jurassic Park, or Avatar have all managed to basically create alternate universes. Actors are having to talk to invisible mice and water down imaginary house fires. The behind the scenes result can prove to be all too humorous…

Especially when that CGI created specimen is outrageously gorgeous…Haha, well this is fake, but it can look as ridiculous as this. I love this video.
